Description
Xinjiang ‘Jade’, also known as Tianshan ‘Jade’ – is found in the Tianshan Mountains in Xinjiang, China. Formed in the siliceous deposits on the seabed 1.8-2.4 billion years ago, it was formed after multiple geological tectonic movements and the infiltration of chromium-containing hydrothermal fluids. This stone is a rare stone in Chinese quartzite that is similar in hardness and density to jadeite. It is light green or white in color. The Mohs hardness is 6.9 – 7.2. With high hardness, white, translucent, and dense texture, good polishing performance, high resistance, making it perfect for jewelry collection.
