According to Buddhist scriptures, Buddha Shakyamuni could speak as soon as he was born, and he could walk without support. There was light on his body, his eyes were pierced in all directions, and he took seven steps, and at each step a lotus flower appeared on the ground. For a while, the fragrance was scattered, the flowers and rain were colorful, the fairy music was played in harmony, and the gods and men of all gods praised in unison. Two springs also naturally sprang up on the ground, one cold and one warm, sweet and clean. Buddha Shakyamuni stepped on the lotus, pointed to the sky with one finger, and said, “I am the only one in the world on earth.” Therefore, the lotus is the symbol of Shakyamuni Buddha and the symbol of Buddhism.
