What is Gold Coral?
Gold coral is a species of gem coral that grows near Midway Island in the North Pacific Ocean, with a water depth of about 1,000 to 2,500 meters (often adjacent to deep-water pink coral); the appearance of gold coral is golden yellow as the background color, often with metallic luster, accompanied by yellow, brown, pink, silver, blue, green, purple and other iridescence.
