Jade Beads
There are two types of jade, one is jade (a silicate of sodium and aluminum in the amphibole mineral group) and the other is nephrite (a calcium and magnesium silicate in the pyroxene mineral group). Their difference is hardness, which is difficult to distinguish by the naked eye.
People use many methods to improve their appearance such as heating, wax, dye, bleach, acid, polymer injection and other treatment methods to make jade more ornamental.
